The Herd^® Program Products

The Herd Programs main focus is on developing social skills and character development. It is experiential in nature where students learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with horses, discussing the related topics and implementing the skills learned. Inherent in The Herd Program is the goal of instilling a sense of self worth, belonging, acceptance and contribution within a social group.

Program topics: respect, communication, confidence, trust, attitude, focus, peer pressure, making good decisions, sportsmanship, focus, visual perception and teamwork.

Program Highlights

• Curriculum for students ages 11 to 18.
• Small groups of 6 to 10 students meeting on a weekly basis.
